You will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our plant, supporting both production and maintenance teams.You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Plant Operator:Monitor and control process parameters, ensuring a systematic and orderly shift handover.Adhere to departmental standing instructions, standard operating procedures, and work permit systems.Operate and monitor process equipment safely, ensuring spare equipment availability.Communicate promptly with the control room and supervisors about any process deviations or equipment abnormalities.Maintain accurate log data of equipment performance and follow up closely.Inform supervisors to raise work orders for equipment/instrument corrections.Safely prepare and hand over equipment to maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with PTW procedures.React promptly to process and safety emergencies as per company HSE procedures.Use raw materials, chemicals, and utilities optimally for cost savings.Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.Coordinate with maintenance, lab, and other service departments for smooth plant operations.Conduct planned inspections and safety tours, identifying unsafe conditions and practices.Perform related duties such as sample collection, greasing, lubricating, adjusting glands, tightening connections, and changing filters.Prepare daily and weekly chemical stock/consumption reports and inform supervisors of necessary stock items.Maintain housekeeping standards as per company HSE procedures.Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Plant Operator:Full-time Diploma in Chemical Engineering or any related degree.Extensive experience in the Oil Gas or Petrochemical industries, with current relevant experience preferred.Strong understanding of process equipment operations and safety protocols.Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and supervisors.Ability to perform accurate log data maintenance and reporting.Proactive in identifying and addressing equipment and process issues.Commitment to following safety and operational procedures
