Remuneration and Package Salary range: 101,600 - 127,000 EURContract: Permanent37 days holiday + 4 Giving More DaysAttractive pensionFlexible workingShare reward schemeGlobal wellbeing programmeProduct AllowancePosition Summary Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, this new role is responsible for managing the day-to-day interaction with our distribution partners and helping to build and implement strategic plans to enable the growth and development of our portfolio based on a brand-driven long-term mindset.
You will be our eyes and ears on the ground, responsible for building solid relationships with key decision-makers and key customers and securing operational excellence and the highest level of in-store/outlet execution.
Job Description Key responsibilities for the role include:
Provide insights to the Regional Commercial Manager to help develop a sales and marketing strategy to reach objectives in terms of turnover growth and profitability, on a short, medium, and long-term basis.Build solid relationships with our Distributor Principal, Managers, Key Account Managers, and Sales Reps within our Distributors (On/Off Trade).Work with wider Edrington teams and help the Distributor to develop key city strategies, turnover, and profitability for the overall Italy business.Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 brand specialists for The Macallan ensuring delivery of all people processes.Understand price ladders in conjunction with the distributor to support the decision-making of the Regional Commercial Manager.Build and lead the rolling brand sales forecast (throughout the year), working closely with the supply chain team in Scotland.Monitor, collect, and analyze all industry information and become an expert on the market and its key features to help grow Edrington European Partners Italy.Monitor and report timely sales/depletions against annual budget and update with Quarterly revisions (QBRs).Support the distributor to execute plans agreed with the Regional Commercial Manager and Customer Marketing Manager.Monthly reporting on performance, competitor intelligence, and business environment.Proactively seek and recommend to Regional Commercial Manager any new profitable business opportunities and support commercial projects, such as route to market reviews.Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have previous customer engagement experience and well-developed commercial and brand management skills, ideally honed within a luxury/premium product environment.
Your ability to listen and build relationships will be key strengths, as will your ability to analyze problems and offer solutions.
You will be culturally aware and have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of managing a team, and you will be able to handle multiple/diverse tasks in a proactive way.
Your reporting skills will be very well developed, and you will have strong proficiency in Excel.
You will also be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken; working knowledge of Portuguese would be advantageous.
