Scientific Communications and Engagement Director - Immunology Omniscope is a TechBio whose proprietary high throughput (1M cells/sample) single-cell TCR/BCR sequencing technology makes it possible to build a global biobank of our immune systems at unprecedented speed, serving as an unprecedented powerful platform for therapeutic discovery and preventive health.
Omniscope is seeking an experienced immunologist as part of our commercial relationship management team. As part of our hyper-growth, we are seeking an articulate communicator who is up to date with innovations in immunology and computational biology. You are driven and passionate about advancing immunotherapies and making a difference to patients.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to communicate the latest advances in science based on real-world data. This role is customer-facing. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including Policy, Brand, and Scientific Liaison, and will report directly to the Head of Policy.
Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesLead the development of projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring objectives, work plans, timelines, and budgets are developed.Act as the project development liaison with coalition partners.Communicate experimental and computational data to customers.Communicate scientific concepts in abstracts, articles, posters, and other scientific publications.Attend scientific meetings in person and online.Contribute to external communications including but not limited to blog articles, website content, and social media.QualificationsPh.D. or above in Immunology or Computational Immunology.Familiarity with Python and R.Experience with NGS and sequencing methods.Familiarity with cell therapy and vaccine technologies preferred.Comfortable with writing scientific communication based on input from the Science Team.Comfortable with advocating for novel technology use supported by the commercial team.Previous experience with publications.Industry experience preferred.CompetencesSelf-motivated.Capability to adapt.Location and TravelBarcelona-based, hybrid work environment.
