ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM : The Knot Worldwide is looking for an energetic and talented Director of Product Marketing to lead our international Product Marketing team. Reporting directly to our VP of Global Product & Lifecycle Marketing, you will not only define our value proposition to couples and vendors,
but also determine and coordinate our Go-to-Market Strategy across our multiple international markets and channels. You'll play a critical role in optimizing for activation, engagement and retention of our users across our product portfolio. You will work with smart, creative and collaborative people who will help you drive impact, hone your skills and develop your career.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop and drive the strategic Product Marketing plan and associated budget to optimize the activation, engagement, and retention of our couples and vendors across our international portfolio of brands.
Deeply understand our market and users (couples, guests, vendors) across different geographies - through audience insights, competitive intelligence, market research, product analytics, and a robust test & learn agenda.
Continue to evolve our value proposition and product positioning in light of our users' needs & attitudes and competitive dynamics.
Partner closely with our Product team on product development plan and Go-to-Market strategy.
Tightly align channel marketers and sales to orchestrate and monitor an effective Go-to-Market strategy that enables acquisition, adoption, usage and retention.
Build, lead, develop and motivate a high-performing product marketing team.
Be in constant contact with our U.S. Product Marketing teams to ensure shared learnings, synergies and consistency.
Be an evangelist for the product across all international teams, helping everyone understand key positioning, differentiation and messages.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION :
10 years of Marketing leadership experience, with 5+ years of demonstrable product marketing background featuring new (tech) product introduction and innovation.
Ability to drive thought leadership, structuring complex problems and communicating prioritization recommendations in a clear and concise manner (oral and written).
Professional maturity to navigate complex organizations and multiple sales motions - and natural ability to build partnerships with and influence a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders - including Product, Sales and Channel Owners, shaping multi-year product roadmaps and go to market strategies.
Experience with fast-paced technology companies and dynamic operating environments, having the ability to manage diverse projects and multiple priorities under aggressive timelines.
Ability to execute quickly and with an agile mindset - scrappy and resourceful, with no fear of "getting your hands dirty" if needed.
Data-driven approach and strong analytical skills.
Vibrant energy, with positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork and results.
A track record of successful team management and development - an enthusiastic people leader who inspires and develops talent, driving focus and accomplishment.
Demonstrated success with large scale marketing efforts and budget management.
Experience with consumer marketing and user obsession.
Passion for small business empowerment and success.
Previous experience in strategic consulting and management consulting is highly valued.
MBA is a plus.
