The role is based in a rapidly growing team of data scientists, data engineers, cloud specialists, developers, and UX practitioners. You will work on ambitious and exciting projects for clients, on internal investment initiatives, and contribute to growing our data science network across the firm.
RoleThis role will bring additional senior technical expertise to the UKIMEA Digital Hub, specifically in data science topics including machine learning, artificial intelligence, optimisation, visualisation, and databases. Specifically, the role holder will be expected to:
Lead and deliver the data science element of client-facing and internal projects, acting as technical lead and project manager, depending on the needs of the project.Design and execute data science workflows, from concept to execution, to deliver novel insights to clients in response to their requirements.Prototype, test, and productionise machine learning models.Model data for storage and querying in database and large-scale analytics platforms.Work with a wide variety of data types, from structured to unstructured, multimedia (video and still images), time-series and IoT data.Clearly visualise and communicate processes and results to clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.Support more junior colleagues and help develop the capabilities of the team.
