We offer high-quality and sustainable logistic solutions for the biggest actors of e-commerce, logistics, automotive, etc., such as Amazon, Zalando, DB Schenker, and many more.We are currently looking for a new colleague in Business Development to develop our activities in Spain.What will the role involve?Identify potential greenfield or brownfield sites fit for new logistics and data centers developments and take responsibility for the entire due diligence, internal approval, and procurement phases.Process market research and site analyses, structure the land sourcing activity to achieve country targets.Liaise with local and regional authorities such as municipalities, provinces, environmental and sanitary agencies, along with energy and utility providers, with specific focus on town planning, permitting, environmental, and remediation topics.Select, coordinate, and supervise external consultants and advisors over the entire land acquisition process with regards to zoning, technical, environmental, tax, and legal aspects.Conduct contract negotiations with prospective sellers in close coordination with our internal legal department until the sale and purchase contract is executed.Monitor the execution of the contract in regard to costs, deadlines, and fulfilment of contractual conditions such as registration of easements, achievement of zoning and permitting milestones, construction risks, etc. until the performance of the contract is complete.Monitor the execution of urban development contracts and neighbouring agreements.Represent Goodman by attending meetings with the related representatives, brokers, customers, and others, either individually or in combination with other colleagues, to facilitate effective information crossflow, services coordination, problem resolution, and informed decision making.Providing regular progress updates and accurate reporting.Interested?
