Position SummaryThe PC&L Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers. The operator is responsible for following the job responsibilities within the plant and/or warehouse while operating in a fast-paced environment. Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ships product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Safely performs all tasks assigned by Leadership including all positions within the Physical Logistics department.Safely operates all equipment to which the individual is certified (e.g., Sit-down Forklifts, Stand Up Lifts, Tuggers, Electric Jacks).Reads and understands work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the material flow requirements.Manually loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required.Accurately and timely enters materials transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.Reads electronic and manual bill of materials, pull sheets, and pick sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.Supports 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.Uses appropriate deviation areas and hold tags to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.Loads/Unloads materials into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocol.Meets physical logistics KPIs, Associate Engagement, and Teamwork.Adheres to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.Wears all required PPE and follows box cutting safety protocols.Safety, Health and Physical RequirementsStand for long periods of time including during operation of stand-up lifts. Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively. Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Working in a non-climate-controlled environment. Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.
