What's the job?As Finance Manager you will support the Director of Finance with the financial operations of the hotel while managing hotel assets and ensuring a centralized accounting environment.Reports to the Director of Finance.**Your day-to-day**:- Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit and cash handling functions for the hotel.- Assist in implementing and maintaining acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by company policy and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices,and as effected by local conditions.- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and reporting.- Assist with the review of operating equipment stores- Prepare financial analyses of hotel operations including variance explanation and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals.- Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems; maintain documents for audits of hotel accounts; ensure compliance with government regulations, federal, state and local laws- Work with other management personnel to establish and implement hotel service standards to achieve maximum profitability and efficiency.- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. What we need from you- Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, methodical, team-worker and with passion for service.- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.- 2+ years' experience in hotel accounting or audit.- Must be fluent in local language and English.- Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) knowledge will be highly valuable.- Opening experience will be valuable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
