Greenvolt Power is seeking a WTG Procurement Manager who will lead procurement activities for Greenvolt Power's wind projects.
This senior-level role involves setting procurement strategies for key capital components, supporting mergers and acquisitions related to wind turbines, and overseeing the tendering process for essential TSIA packages and O&M agreements.
The WTG Procurement Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of Greenvolt's wind projects across its European footprint.
Key accountabilities Development & Strategy Lead, manage, and implement the procurement process for wind turbine supply, transport, installation packages, and/or operation and maintenance services, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
Provide support for M&A activities by evaluating wind turbine procurement strategies.
Manage the tendering process for TSIA packages and contract negotiations.
Define and refine the supply chain strategy for key WTG packages and markets in collaboration with senior management during development phases.
Define and revisit the supply chain strategy of key categories/markets in coordination with the direct Director during the development phase.
Provide accurate cost estimations and project forecasts across different categories and scopes, coordinating closely with the technical department, market stakeholders, and aligning with CAPEX assumptions; regularly follow up on budgets to advise and mitigate potential deviations.
Regularly engage with project teams to ensure procurement strategies align with project development needs and milestones.
Review and negotiate supplier agreements to optimize terms and conditions that align with company policies and objectives.
Conduct benchmarking exercises to assess the competitiveness of rates and services during the due diligence process.
Market Screening & Supplier Management Maintain long-term relationships with key WTG suppliers, aligned with company compliance.
Follow up and revisit trends and forecasts, where applicable (categories and/or markets), identifying risks and opportunities with respect to price, suppliers' capabilities, and quality.
Proactively scout for suppliers in current and/or new markets.
Contribute to developing a network of suppliers (current/new entrants) that have an impact on the business.
Procurement Process Lead or support, with the coordination of the direct Director, the execution of RFIs, RFPs/RFQs, sole sourcing, or bid processes to evaluate WTG options, following a competitive process, including but not limited to: RFP drafting - Definition and execution of the terms/requirements Bidder list definition and pre-qualification process Coordination of technical inputs according to project deadlines Pivotal role involving key areas, such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, EHS, etc.
Leading contract and commercial negotiations Proposals assessments Awarding recommendation following project and company requirements Others Manage orders with suppliers, ensuring reliability in information in terms of dates, quantity, and prices.
Provide information to other stakeholders and collaborators in the supply chain.
Maintain an updated order portfolio with the required frequency.
Provide contract management support (when applicable) during the execution of the project.
Reporting Report the procurement process to the direct manager following specific and/or group guidelines (EHS, Compliance, Risk, etc.).
Provide suppliers' benchmark reporting (when applicable: e.g., supplier's factory, industry fairs, others).
Qualifications University degree in Engineering or related is required.
Complimentary studies in procurement, is a plus.
At least 5-7 years of significant/recent experience within wind procurement (engineering, technical office and/or procurement).
Experience with supplier and contract management.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
