We're a leading travel tech company, revolutionising the travel booking experience through our consumer insight, innovative technology, market leadership, and Prime, the world's first travel subscription program.Role Mission:You will be part of the Business Legal Team that advises in a wide range of matters related to the legal requirements of our consumer facing websites and apps including displays and content, end-to-end search and booking/purchase processes; terms and conditions for our website, products, promotions and contests; access to supplier content and inventory; conducting business as a travel seller in international markets; commercial litigation (B2B, high value and/or strategic) and public procedures related to consumers.
Your focus will be Spain, Portugal and Latam.
However, you will be part of a small but high performing international team of lawyers each working on domestic and global topics, and you will therefore have multi-regional responsibility and be pivotal in the provision of quality cross-border legal advice.What you'll do: The Role's Key Responsibilities and TasksThe main tasks are listed below.
The role may evolve according to the priorities identified by the group given the dynamic and responsive nature of the Legal Team.Advise on current consumer law and the application of same across our websites in our products, content and services;Draft, update and maintain terms and conditions of our websites/apps and our products and services;Manage processes and dialogues with the relevant authorities and public administrations, especially consumer departments of Comunidades Autónomas;Manage our brand reputation by reporting and escalating where necessary any brand abuse and defamatory content;Liaise with internal stakeholders and business teams to ensure that legal concepts are communicated clearly, and legal frameworks are incorporated into business practices;Build and manage the legal team's precedent bank and internal Know How and guidance documents;Horizon scan for upcoming regulatory changes that may impact the business and assist in the implementation where needed;Provide training to other team members and business stakeholders;Manage outside legal counsel (including working to budget allowances);Provide support to other members of the legal team, and to business teams, on an as-needed basis.What you need to succeed: Job RequirementsSpanish Degree in Law and LL.M #J-18808-Ljbffr
