We have a full-time position in Rota, Spain providing Program and Administrative support to the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) Chief Engineer (CHENG). Essential Responsibilities include: Perform a wide array of preparation and administration duties for the Chief Engineer (CHENG). Responsible to the FDRMC CHENG to receive, analyze, and amass technical data and communicate status to respective points of contact including FTA trends, Departure from Specification (DFS) trends. Management of conflicting priorities between FDRMC sites, including prioritizing daily calls, schedules, and other administrative duties. Support will include the actions and responsibilities listed below: Program Management Support (75%): Prepare bi-weekly special projects status, routine data updates, and key metrics. Assist in the research, formulation, and developing select technical inquiries, reports, and metrics. Update and track Workforce Development (WFD) for engineering personnel. Assist in developing a Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), assignments, and tracking status of current ship repair projects to support continuous improvement initiatives and requirements. Consolidate and track maintenance availabilities and key events. Assist in researching and verifying technical documents for accuracy, including instructions, programmatic MOAs, standard operating procedures, memorandums/letters, templates, and other governing instructions. Coordinate inspections and evaluations, such as the bi-annual Fleet Maintenance Activity Assessment and tri-annual Engineering Technical Authority Evaluation. Develop and provide presentations and training materials for the technical community. Develop and provide metrics that reflect FTA, TSRA, CMO, and I-level support performance and critical trends to support decisions. Prepare professional papers on critical technical issues for presentation. Administrative / Executive assistance (25%): Prepare weekly read-/plan-ahead. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and 7 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Must have significant project management experience in multi-faceted teams of complex nature. Must have significant experience in working in a team supporting Program Objective Memorandum (POM) with an understanding of data metrics. Must have an active secret US government clearance.
