(Wp018) Emeai Pre-Sales Application Scientist Automation

Main tasks are:
Support the Genomics sales force in EMEA with respect to the automation opportunities which have been qualified by the product specialists.
Execute the FAS related initiatives of the Genomics business plan.
Work closely with the automation Product Specialist to qualify new projects.
Deliver technical expertise for solution implementation to customers based on Agilent products and services.
Act as a scientific consultant for the Genomics customers with respect to automation solutions.
Focus on pre-sales activities with revenue generating potential.
Keep scientific knowledge on existing and new automation products in state of the art.
Represent Agilent scientifically on relevant congresses and seminars.
Provide scientific training on Agilent's automation solutions.
Appreciate working in a multi-cultural environment.
Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions, customers, and third parties.
Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent in automation, biotechnology.
Typically 3+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
Extensive practical experience working with Genomics automation solutions.
Affinity with software being used on automation platforms.
Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and training skills.
Practical experience with NGS is a plus.
Fluent in English; Spanish/French is a plus.
Knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques is desirable, but not a must.
Willingness to travel within EMEAI.
