Working for the Operations department and reporting to the Execution Support Manager, the Workforce Scheduler is responsible for planning and managing employee schedules to ensure efficient operations and optimal staffing.Key duties include:Creating schedules based on business needs.Monitoring attendance and adjusting shifts as needed.Ensuring compliance with labor laws.Coordinating with managers to align staffing levels and address scheduling conflicts.Tracking peak periods and managing absenteeism and overtime.The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, and proficiency in workforce management software such as Kronos or similar platforms.
The Workforce Scheduler must analyze scheduling data to identify trends and recommend improvements to optimize workforce efficiency.The Workforce Scheduler also stays updated on labor laws and must have the ability to handle unforeseen changes and resolve scheduling issues promptly.
