Working for the Operations department and reporting to the Execution Support Manager, the Workforce Scheduler is responsible for planning and managing employee schedules to ensure efficient operations and optimal staffing.
Key duties include: Creating schedules based on business needsMonitoring attendanceAdjusting shifts as neededEnsuring compliance with labor lawsCoordinating with managers to align staffing levelsAddressing scheduling conflictsTracking peak periods and managing absenteeism and overtimeThe role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, and proficiency in workforce management software such as Kronos or similar platforms.
The Workforce Scheduler must analyze scheduling data to identify trends and recommend improvements to optimize workforce efficiency.
The Workforce Scheduler also stays updated on labor laws and must have the ability to handle unforeseen changes and resolve scheduling issues promptly.
Additionally, the position involves analyzing other data managed by the operations department and generating reports.
This position is also responsible for handling Operations IFS-related tasks.
Proficiency in English is needed for data management and involvement in different initiatives within the Operations department.
