Key Responsibilities of the Workday Sr Specialist:Assesses the functional requirements for business applications, translates these into system/technical specifications and implements the desired solution, followed by close support to guarantee success after implementation.Build strong partnerships and collaborate with the team and key business partners in day-to-day work and issue resolution.Research system impact of new initiatives, respond to key data issues, and assist partners in understanding best practices to support their business goals and objectives.Defines system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives. Provides estimates of work effort and costs and coordinates the efforts of staff to effectively use resources to test and install.Provides improvement recommendations on business processes and system design that require a high level of technical competency.Requirements of the Workday Sr Specialist:Preferred Education: bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 2-year experience in implementing/supporting Workday HCM/Core Consulting & Report Writer and preferred modules: Talent Management and Performance Enablement.Excellent data analysis skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.Advanced experience with Workday Mass Uploads & EIBs.Demonstrated experience and knowledge in systems and project management.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Delivers timely and quality work while demonstrating effective work prioritization.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence others.
