Wnd829 - Finance Manager

What's the job? As Finance Manager, you will support the Director of Finance with the financial operations of the hotel while managing hotel assets and ensuring a centralized accounting environment. Reports to the Director of Finance.
Your day-to-day:
Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, and cash handling functions for the hotel.
Assist in implementing and maintaining acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by company policy and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and as affected by local conditions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and reporting.
Assist with the review of operating equipment stores.
Prepare financial analyses of hotel operations including variance explanation and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals.
Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems; maintain documents for audits of hotel accounts; ensure compliance with government regulations, federal, state, and local laws.
Work with other management personnel to establish and implement hotel service standards to achieve maximum profitability and efficiency.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
What we need from you:
Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, methodical, team-worker and with passion for service.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
2+ years' experience in hotel accounting or audit.
Must be fluent in local language and English.
Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) knowledge will be highly valuable.
Opening experience will be valuable.
