Job Summary: We are looking for a Head of Strategic Customers to manage complex strategic accounts in the B2B space. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree and experience dealing with large enterprise accounts (greater than 250MM USD revenue). Exceptional English and Spanish skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Key Responsibilities:Own all facets of the account management process for large, complex strategic accounts within the assigned industry.Manage a full territory/one full large industry; ownership of pipeline and influence over lead sourcing process.Meet or exceed targets for prospecting/new customer acquisition and customer account management.Interact up to VP/SVP level with customers (e.g., CPO, Head of Indirect Procurement) and articulate customer procurement strategy.Close customer contract negotiations with various stakeholders.Act as a liaison with US and international product teams, identifying and driving resolution of product bugs and high-severity events.Expert in Procurement Business Processes ("Purchase-to-Pay") and knowledgeable in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MSFT), e-Procurement Systems, and other market solutions.Drive periodic innovation aimed at improving customer satisfaction.Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service, and other key internal Amazon stakeholders.A Day in the Life:The leader will audit the performance of the team, understand areas of opportunity, and share key messages with the team. They will conduct interviews and one-on-one meetings to train and develop their careers. Additionally, they will meet with their European peers to discuss the strategic plan for the next year and prioritize features for our customers.
