In line with the growth policy established by the company in Spain, we need to incorporate in our offices in Madrid, a BID TECHNICIAN, specialized in international civil engineering projects.
BID TECHNICIAN (INTERNATIONAL CIVIL WORKS) Location: Madrid
The selected person will be responsible for the following functions, among others:
Analyze the project to be tendered, reviewing plans, annexes, budgets, etc., in order to prepare the best technical offer for the company in terms of quality, resources, and execution times. Detect the singularities of each work and how to particularize the offers, in such a way that the highest possible score is obtained. Carry out the economic study of the work in the bidding phase, to ensure its viability, as well as establish a reference figure for Management to decide the final price of the offer. Prepare the technical documentation required in the Specific Administrative Clauses (PCAP), including scheduling, analysis of the origin of materials, construction procedures, etc., for the presentation of offers before the bidding body or entity. Coordinate the execution of the offer, in the event that the technical offer is prepared by one or more external parties, according to the criteria and parameters of the department, to guarantee the highest technical score according to the PCAP criteria. Interested persons must have the following professional profile:
Degree in civil engineering or ITOP. Experience as a technician for bids and tenders for national and/or international projects (Experience in managing turnkey projects). Management of computer systems (Autocad, Project, Office, or similar). Very high level of English. Ability to manage offers and tenders. Knowledge of costs and technical knowledge of design and development of international civil works projects. Local contract is offered according to salary scales in the local market.
