In this role, you will be collaborating with Product Management, CCE and Infrastructure teams to deliver Data Integration features.In this role, you will also be responsible to:Design and implement components of Workato database connectivity: data connectors, connection pools, request routers, database bridges, etc.Work with SRE and Infrastructure teams to improve backend reliability and troubleshoot production issuesDesign and implement components of Workato messaging connectivity: connectors and message routers for Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ and Amazon SQSDesign and implement components of Workato Data Insights (data analytics)Perform code and architecture reviewsSupport continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural reviewContribute in all phases of the development lifecycleFacilitate knowledge sharing and cross-team communicationWrite well designed, testable, efficient codeEstablish long-term strategy for feature and performance testingEnsure designs are in compliance with specifications.RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical SkillsBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject10+ years of industry experienceExperience in building, deploying and troubleshooting production-grade systemsProficiency with Core JavaExperience with Relational Databases, SQL and JDBC (one of Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)Experience with test-driven development.OptionalTechnical leadership experienceExperience of working with Docker and other isolation technologiesExperience of working with Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructure providers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud/Heroku)Experience with automated performance testing is a plusExperience in related fields (DevOps, PKI, distributed systems, data replication, etc)Experience with dynamic languages (Groovy, Ruby, Javascript) is a plusUnderstanding of messaging systems like Kafka and JMS is plusExperience in building/deploying REST APIs is a plus.
