As our Director, Business Development - Partnerships, you'll drive growth of our global partner program and work with senior leadership to shape and refine this brand building and revenue generating program for each of our brands.
Successful candidates will be able to thoughtfully identify partnership opportunities, pitch and develop strong relationships with third party organizations who serve the needs of B2B technology buyers, and lead a team to drive outcomes that move the needle for our business.Responsibilities: Deliver a compelling vision for how to leverage assets and drive shared value with prospective partners.Build a pipeline of quality partner opportunities through research and prospecting of key high-impact industries.Pitch opportunities to prospective partners with clarity, passion, and expertise.Interface closely with internal content, brand marketing, and product teams to leverage existing assets or develop new assets as needed and to ensure successful implementation.Negotiate partnership contract terms through to signing, considering payment structure and implementation requirements from partner organizations based on product/engineering specs (e.G., APIs, performance tracking, commission and/or payment terms), and ensure a smooth graduation to the account management team.Collect and share key insights from partner pitches.
Use feedback from potential partners to identify improvements to the program.Ensure financial forecasts are met; develop sensible yet ambitious forward-looking growth plans.Requirements: 7+ years' previous business development experience and/or affiliate partnership sales experience.Maturity, confidence, and a growth mindset; comfortable with cold introductions and objection handling.Sound Excel skills and strategic business judgment.Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership skills
