with great opportunities for professional development and surrounded by a multicultural environment with colleagues who share your passion for technology and mobility.The Sales Engineer will be responsible for a defined product range or segment and defined customer group for a scope of program(s) & project(s) for the application engineering (product development) related activities and commercial responsibilities within the defined framework.How can you become part of our success?Represent MAHLE at the dedicated customers for technical and commercial discussion and other important occasions.Create and maintain a network for information and communication flow both from customer to MAHLE and vice versa.Support, set up and review of actual project budgets, compare activities and results with previously established project budgets and take appropriate corrective measures in case of deviations in line with Program Manager and Product Manager.Support & pursue new business opportunities by collecting information in early stage of the sourcing activities; generate sales opportunities for the dedicated product range or segment, research on sales feasibility of MSBS products for customer.Responsibility of defining product requirements for a specific program and/or project(s) together with customer and in line with MAHLE internal requirements. Responsibility of commercial discussions for a defined scope in agreement with the company's policy. Manage product development activities within project team as (core) team member of program / project(s) in line with the company's processes and guidelines. Keep close contact and excellent collaboration with the MSBS & project teams and mutually address the challenges coming from the market and PDP-projects.Define potential demand as well as technical trend and competitors analysis and forward the information internally.Establish long term relationship to the customer and strengthen contact network within different customer's organization, focusing on technical product development functions in order to be considered a strategic supplier of high technical competency.Act as Project Manager for PDP-projects with "normal complexity" if designated to this role.What skills do you need?Bsc degree in Engineering
