Your Responsibilities: Deploy commodities strategy.
Ensure project execution in line with QCDT objectives.
Support global supplier panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, specific agreement).
Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances).
Monitor day-to-day suppliers performances and issues.
Manage initial issues before escalating to line manager.
Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines.
Consolidate commodity needs and inputs.
Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration.
Provide inputs to build differentiation.
Support Commodity Manager in tender phase.
Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions.
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving.
Coordinate project with all Metiers.
Prepare and launch Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool.
Ensure work package sheet commitment respect.
Prepare Business Award.
Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Qualifications: Graduated from Business School or Engineering school with a MASTER in Purchasing.
Fluent in English; international background is a must.
2 to 5 years of experience in the industry.
Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Internal and external influencing skills.
Negotiation skills.
Willingness to take initiative.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization.
