Drives Service Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Renewables Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Your focus will be in the service activity for wind turbine converters. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.The work model for the role is hybrid and flexible; partially working from home and partially working in or linked to ABB offices in Basque Country, Zaragoza, Madrid and Barcelona. Pamplona and other nearby locations can also be considered. #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Motion Renewables Services, special focus in Wind segment in Spain. You will be mainly accountable for:? Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.? Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.? Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.?Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization? Following-up the opportunities together with the sales organization.? Collaborate with the global service excellence centers in the continuous development of new services.
Qualifications for the role
A Bachelor or Technical degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering. or Professional Module (FP2). 2 years of experience in wind energy market. Experience in technical or sales aspects of design, commissioning or maintenance of electrical systems of wind turbines. Knowledge of AC/DC drives technology and industrial communications is required. Also appreciated: sound knowledge of and/or hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing ABB or other brand drives for all types of industries and applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, standard quotation platforms and standard customer relationship management software. A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and good command of English, both written and spoken. Current car driving license (type B) valid in Spain as well as specific VISA/work permit for Spain.What's in it for you?
