MissionReporting to the Wind Engineering Director, the Wind Resource Senior Analyst will decide the optimal configuration of the wind projects developed and built by Zelestra based on the yield study and global costs of the project throughout its useful life, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
ResponsibilitiesConduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the potential for wind energy projects.Perform wind resource analysis using meteorological data to evaluate site suitability.Design and develop wind farm layouts, optimizing project size and wind turbine positions considering factors such as wind patterns, terrain, and environmental impact, including micrositing projects.Conduct studies to characterize wind farm sites and power curve analysis, estimating energy performance in wind and hybrid farms.Select the optimal configuration of the wind project considering the yield studies and the expected costs during the lifetime of the project.
Decision made based on project profitability, so basic financial knowledge is required (LCOE, cash flows, etc.
