We're counting on your energy Wind resource and energy assessment leader Mission: The Renewables Engineering team aims to build wind project portfolio at Galp to contribute to a reliable and sustainable power system. We are looking for a Wind resource and energy Assessment Leader to support the development of this business by managing all the activities related with Wind, specially with Energy Assessment and Resource Analysis, but also Project Engineering activities. You'll be part of an energetic skilled and hands-on team focused on delivering results with high-quality. What you'll do: Perform as an expert in wind resource analysis on new wind energy projects. Solid understanding of wind turbine technology and the ability to convey this knowledge to others both internally and externally. Take active part in the cross-disciplinary efforts of designing and optimizing wind farm layouts within relevant constraints. Responsible for carrying out energy yield assessments using common industry tools. Assist with analyses in due diligence and acquisition processes. Responsible for the technical design of wind measurement campaigns within the applicable standards and engaging in the monitoring of the measurements in collaboration with other departments involved. Site wind data treatment from raw data (met mast, lidar) Translate measured wind conditions to wind resource characterizations. Work closely with the project development teams. Cooperate with technical experts on the suitability of turbines for particular sites with regards to the meteorological site conditions and on other technical aspects of relevance for the layout. Capabilities to work on a multidisciplinary team. Experience on Wind Turbine selection What youll need: Perform as an expert in wind resource analysis on new wind energy projects.
