Position Summary The post holder will perform engineering work in operations, production, or maintenance environments.
They will design components, installations, parts, processes, instruments, and equipment, and test manufactured products to maintain quality.
They will plan, design, and estimate time and cost, and oversee the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems, and components.
Duties include analysis and developing solutions to production engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.
This will include developing and applying production engineering standards and procedures, and providing advice on issues within the engineering function.
Main Responsibilities Responsible for workflow throughout the Production Engineering organization in regards to either manufacturing requirements; fuselage configuration; cabin design; product support items; and related standardization opportunities.
Develop best practices, lessons learned, and define methods & tools accordingly to either improve engineering data quality and reduce manufacturing costs; or improve inventory and standards usage, with a focus on cabin design or product support as appropriate.
Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Minimum Requirements Relevant Bachelor/Master from an accredited University (preferably aviation).
Solid understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, procedures, and tools of the field of specialization in English.
C1 level proficiency.
3-5 years work experience with proven completion experience and project participation.
Excellent track record of managing complex technical tasks in highly collaborative environments, preferably during an EVP, IR, or In-Service phase, including fuselage configuration and cabin standards.
