Job Details: Do you have a passion for HR Compliance in a fast-paced, exciting environment? Then we have the role for you! We are looking to hire an innovative, process/detailed-oriented HR Compliance Manager to help grow and scale our global HR Compliance program. You will lead in strengthening our HR compliance environment, and mitigate compliance risks, by building partnerships and developing operational action plans to address gaps. Your role will primarily be focused on EMEA but you will also work closely on global projects across time zones and geographies. You will report directly to the EMEA Sr. Manager of HR Compliance based in London. Please note this role does not have direct reports.
Your Impact (Roles & Responsibilities): Identify HR Compliance-related gaps in existing processes and lead developing and operationalizing mitigation efforts with business partners across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and HR Shared services. Operationalize legal requirements into compliant processes and Workday design in partnership with employment legal, Payroll, and HR Shared Services. Monitor, audit and test HR-related business processes, with compliance at the heart of the design, driving process improvement. Provide guidance and assist HR process and control owners with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of control documentation to ensure compliance is monitored and reviewed. Lead HR Compliance core projects by understanding local legal requirements, providing guidance on any gaps, and project manage mitigation efforts to drive compliance by design in all that we do. Develop and deliver HR-related compliance communications, training, and education, driving enablement within the business on core compliance requirements. Build strong working relationships with internal departments to align project priorities and deliver in a timely manner. Maintain dialogue with other industry colleagues and professional organizations to stay ahead of trends in the industry and in compliance processes. Lead in translating the appropriate solutions to our Company. Lead and/or provide input to special projects both ongoing/recurring, as needed. Bring rigor and efficiency in all that they do, delivering excellent timely work product, communicating openly and clearly, and working as a team. Flex in the face of the constantly changing external and internal environment, running with the pace of the business and delivering on multiple, complex, simultaneous and shifting priorities. Required Skills/Experience (Basic Qualifications): Proven experience in the field of human resources operations, compliance, and auditing. Demonstrate ability in testing, monitoring, and auditing HR-related processes and controls; developing remediation plans; and documenting the same. Experience in handling and implementing projects that includes identifying, maintaining, and adjusting project scope and resources, formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance. Has a global mentality, understanding country and regional differences and requirements. Expert in MS Office (e.g., Excel - pivot tables, V-look ups, Word, PowerPoint) and/or G Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Drive). Excellent communication, collaboration, partnership, and social skills across all levels of the Company, managing through influence. Comfortability operating in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace. A proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for analyzing data and translating it into a compelling narrative. Sound, reasonable professional judgment and intuition for business. Adopt Salesforce's culture and operate with high ethical standards. Capability to work flexible hours, which may on rare occasion include day, evening, and weekend hours. Additional Skills/Experience (Preferred Qualifications): Workday experience in system and process design. EMEA wide HR or Compliance experience. Experience working with high growth companies. Cloud, enterprise software or technology industry experience preferably. HR Certification. Experience with HR-related statutory, regulatory and/or professional compliance standards and practices. Expertise in developing process documentation and flowcharts. Flexibility to travel if required to EMEA and potentially international locations.
