Welding Process Engineer

Description The opportunity For our Business Unit of Transformers (Power Transformers), we are looking for a welding engineer in our Hitachi Energy Galindo Tank plant who will be in charge of managing the welding process, working in the quality team. How you will make an impact: Adapt and update welding processes according to the requirements for the manufacturing process in the factory and customers. Coordinate the welding process, including the technical support, training, and certification to welders. Identification and analysis of improvement opportunities in the welding process. Leadership on the target to achieve the ISO 15085 certification. Review and approval of welding qualifications of the suppliers. Internal and suppliers audits. Your background: Welding engineer degree (IWE). 3 years of experience in a similar role. Fluent in Spanish and English. German will be considered a high plus.
