I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the Six Senses Ibiza.Key Responsibilities:Develop strong relationships with relevant wedding planners and firms.Proactively participate in sales activities.Review wedding sourcing platforms and marketing opportunities.Respond to all wedding inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.Maintain a high level of detail and professionalism when preparing proposals and contracts for clients.Conduct all site visits and follow up with potential clients.Create and execute wedding FAM trips to the hotel to help showcase the resort to target clients and agencies.Responsible for producing weekly and monthly booking reports for weddings, events room revenue, and catering sales.Work closely with the marketing team on opportunities across collateral, social media, and third-party marketing opportunities.Join weekly BEO meetings where relevant.Maintain excellent working relationships and communication with other departments, including Front Office, F&B, and Finance teams.Update the DOS and DOSM about potential opportunities and weaknesses in the market.Make strategic recommendations for improved performance.QualificationsTo execute the position of Weddings & Events Sales Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:2 - 3 years of experience as a wedding planner.Previous experience and knowledge of the Ibizan wedding market would be a plus.Personally involved, visible, and proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the property's prominent position within the market.Excellent communication skills.Well-developed capability for strategic decision-making and a track record of proven results in the areas of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, revenue, and profit.Intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence, and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.Technical skills: Advanced MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
