Purpose of the job- Manage the T&C team
- Collaborate with the V&V manager to define the V&V strategy to be applied in lab and on field
ResponsibilitiesResponsible of the QCD commitment of the T&C Work PackagePro-actively manages the internal interfaces with Project Engineering, Industrial and Warranty, and the external interfaces with Partners, third parties and Customers.Deploys T&C process on the field and ensures it is applied by the T&C team within the projectDelivers T&C plans, procedures, method statements and coordinates staffing and training of the T&C team.Prepares and manages Test & Commissioning works on field - Material and tools, documentation, people, access, logisticsEnsures the EHS compliance (Zero deviation), reports and anticipates issuesManages the T&C team:Ensures EHS on field with guidance and support from the Project team member in charge of Project EHS coordinationTrains and supports people in T&C activitiesParticipates to Subsystem Leader, Engineer and Technician assessment of competencyManages the tools and organizes accurate calibrationAnticipates issues and regularly reports to the RC TCM and to the PM on progress, issues and risks on the project (EHS, T&C work, System delivery)Ensures all design related issues are reported in the adequate tools, including defect description and associated test contextMonitors/manages QCD performance delivery (including EHS and Railway safety) of the work package T&C as per customer and solution/system requirementsIssues the REX on T&C activities, and proposes updates/improvements of the T&C way of working/process/tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performancePerformance MeasurementCommissioning Work Packages Q-C-DSavings through Risk mitigations and opportunitiesRatio between V&V and T&C testsCompliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standardsQuality of anticipation, monitoring and reportingEducational RequirementsMandatory: Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken)Desirable: Any other additional language is an assetExperienceMandatory: More than 5 years of experience in T&C or V&V activities for signaling projectsExperience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectivesDeep knowledge of multiple subsystems + system global viewInterface with customer or partners and internally V&V, Design, Installation stakeholdersExperience managing projects from T&C point of viewExperience managing resources in projects of T&CDesirable: Previous team management experiencesKnowledge of ALSTOM rules and processesQuality, EHS and Railway safety knowledgeCompetencies & SkillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfil the role of interface manager toward both customers and partnersAble to manage multiple teams in parallelQuality-focused, rigorous, team-playerFlexibility and mobility, available for short or long missions in different locations and countriesAvailable to work on field also for night shiftsResilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex system failuresCustomer satisfaction and results orientatedAbility to use new technologies and toolsDriving licenseAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
