About the Role: We are looking for an HCP Interactions Operations Leader (f/m/d) to lead a team of Gore Medical Associates in the EMEA region. The HCP Interactions Operations team is responsible for supporting interactions with Health Care Professionals and Health Care Organizations (HCPs/HCOs) via educational grants or who engage as Gore consultants for medical education, clinical research, and other projects related to Gore Medical products and/or disease states. The team ensures compliance of HCP Interactions with AdvaMed, MedTech, and other regional obligations. This position will be located at our facility in Barcelona, Spain, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide people leadership and development for EMEA HCP Interactions Operations team.Ensure administration and strategic direction of established processes related to Grants and HCP Engagements.Monitor and support continuous improvement of internal processes, policies, and procedures.Identify potential areas of improvement/inefficiencies within established processes with the goal to standardize globally where possible.Team training to ensure a thorough understanding of applicable local laws and requirements for HCP Engagements.Serve as an expert on HCP interaction related work, including creation and negotiation of contracts to support Medical Education, Project Consulting, and grant-related activities.Liaise with Legal and/or Compliance for contractual changes resulting from negotiations to ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met to safeguard Gore Medical's integrity.Lead efforts for regular analysis and communication to internal stakeholders on KPIs and other metrics related to HCP Engagement and Grants, including the development and maintenance of tracking tools and dashboards for users.Maintain and ensure compliance with all interactions and contracts. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.Minimum 2 years of demonstrated strong team/people leadership, including the ability to provide constructive performance feedback, build positive relationships, and improve business results.Minimum of 2 years experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.Demonstrated success influencing internal and external stakeholders in cross-functional environments.Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail.Self-direction and motivation.Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated collaboration with a diverse range of people and job functions.Fluent written & spoken language skills in English and at least one of the other following languages: French, Spanish, Italian, German.Ability to travel up to 10% to achieve business and project objectives. Desired Qualifications:
Experience related to working with healthcare providers, grants processing, or other similar type transactions.Experience in leading projects and contract negotiations.Strong understanding of regulations, standards, and industry terminology related to health care interactions, grants, and medical devices (EucoMed/MedTech). Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's policy.
