Work and responsibilities Working within the Water Sports Center team at Club La Santa you will be responsible for teaching a wide range of water sports classes daily as well deliver the very best experience to Club La Santa guests.
You will be teaching both on land and in the water in any kind of level or age category.
You will some days be working mainly with kids in the age group 3-15 years old, which depends on the class, and other days mainly with adults.
You will be teaching in a lot of different Watersports such as Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddle, Kayak and Slackline.
We also offer personal instructions where you focus on the individual guest and the improvement of her/his skills.
Working within the Green Team you might be required to work in other areas, like Sports Booking, morning runs, events, evening entertainment, etc.
You will work on a flexible schedule that is dynamic and changing.
Your working days will be varied in tasks and hours.
You will refer directly to the In-Charge of the Water Sports Centre (in Lanzarote).
Furthermore, you will be a part of the Green Team consisting of around 60 sports instructors and with more than 450 colleagues across 3 countries, you will be part of a big hotel operation.
Qualifications Teaching experience within activities such as windsurfing, Stand-Up Paddle, Kayak and Slackline.
Preferable: 1 year of experience in coaching, training, or teaching windsurf / other watersports activities for children, adults, beginners and intermediate / advanced.
Must have a basic knowledge of how to windsurf.
Fluent in English.
Secondary Spanish and/or Danish.
Candidate profile Great communication skills.
When speaking to our guests, we expect you to be clear in your diction and specific about the techniques in all our Water Sports classes.
You know how to communicate in different contexts either during personal instruction or group sessions on the water or at the beach you know how to adapt your body language and tone of voice according to the age category.

At the beach and on the water, you will be responsible for the guests, the equipment used, and sharing the Laguna with people from outside our complex while having Green Team classes.

You will also help in organizing group equipment according to the booking system.
What do we offer Permanent full time contract with 40 hrs.
working week and 2 days off.
The salary is 1,392.79 € bruto per month, 12 times a year.
You will also receive three extra payments during the year: December, June and Holiday pay.
These amounts will be calculated proportionally to the number of months the employee has been employed.
The max you can receive is 1,336.42 € bruto (up to three times per year).
One free lunch will be provided on all working days.
Holiday: 30 days a year + 18 extra days of holiday as compensation for work on public holidays including holiday pay.
Subsidised shared accommodation at 191.76 € per month (the apartment is shared with another employee and consists of a living room with a small kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom).
