Assisting all departments in the distribution of supplies and products while accounting for all goods from food stores and receiving areas.Unloading food & beverage products from delivery trucks daily.Ensure all products received are properly stored, while maintaining rotation and storage areas, fridges & freezers.Working closely with the Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef to maintain product freshness and rotation (FIFO).Participation in monthly inventory counts & daily spot checks.Unload merchandise from delivery trucks and assist loading of the hotels truck.Familiarity of merchandise used within the hotelDaily cleaning of storage areas, fridges & freezers.Maintain personal physical health & safety awareness in moving and lifting stockEnsure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all environmental policies and programs as requiredOther reasonable duties as assignedQualifications Your experience and skills include: Self-motivated, with the ability to work with little supervisionFood & Beverage knowledge (Meats, Produce, Dry Goods, Etc.) an asset.Computer knowledge and experience with windows based applicationsOrganizational and communication skillsPrevious warehouse experience an assetExcellent mathematical skills and attention to detailKnowledge of hotel and department operations an assetMust be physically capable of meeting demands of the position: standing, walking, bending, lifting 80lbs and pushing carts ranging from 500lbs – 1,000lbsVisa Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
