Warehouse Operative

Certikin is looking for a motivated, high performing individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, picking and packing items, liaising with customers at the Trade desk and supporting the Transport Team Leader and Dispatch Supervisor.The job includes:Use of barcode scanners and pick lists to assemble customer orders to deadlinesPackaging customer orders appropriately for the method of deliveryHighlighting issues with stock when picking orders to help maintain optimum stock levelsEnsuring all areas of the warehouse and yards are kept tidy and free of debris Warehouse stock movements including put away and replenishment of pickfacesOperating the Trade desk as directed by the Dispatch SupervisorOffering an efficient and friendly service to all trade customersAssisting in the loading and unloading of vehicles as directed by the Transport Team LeaderEnsuring the appropriate paperwork is completed Using mechanical handling equipment such as PPT, pallet trucks and fork lift trucks within Health and Safety guidelines.What will you bring to the role?Accurate with attention to detailA flexible team player with a 'can do' attitudeAbility to recognise and deliver good customer service when dealing with customers collecting or returning products at the Trade Desk.The salary for this role is £24,720, with working hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am-4.30pm on Fridays.At Certikin, we are committed to both the professional and personal development of our employees.
