Must be detail-oriented and organized to effectively manage the daily operations of the warehouse facility by maintaining a safe working environment.PRINCIPAL DUTIESMaintain accurate records of inventory warehouse items and organizing property storage.Prepare reports on various warehouse activities by conducting regular inventory counts and ensuring adequate supply items.Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments, inspecting goods for quality and accuracy, and properly storing items in designated locations within the warehouse.Retrieve and prepare requested items and issue them to the requesting party.Monitor the movement of returnable and non-returnable items.Provide leadership to the warehouse staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring that team members are properly trained in safety procedures, equipment operation, and warehouse processes.Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the warehouse, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any safety hazard violations.Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse operations, optimize workflows, and improve efficiency through the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Coordinate with other departments to resolve any possible issues related to inventory, orders, or shipments and report any discrepancies.Create and file sales orders, invoices, productivity reports, packing lists, and other documentation.Recommend movement and/or disposal of movable equipment or supplies to remove obsoletes or deteriorated materials.Provide logistic support and assistance on other areas/functions of the construction company as may be assigned by the superior.JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate of any business-related courseExperience: At least two (2) years of work experience in a similar role, familiar with construction materials, and proficient with inventory management.Good oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyWilling to be trained and travel for meetingsDriving skills (4-wheel vehicles) with a valid driver's license#J-18808-Ljbffr
