You will be responsible for three departments: Inbound, Outbound, and Online.
Key Responsibilities: Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations and service levelsManage all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including inventory replenishment, order fulfillment, and loadingOversee external warehousing operationsManage the operational budgetDevelop and implement innovative solutions, KPI improvements, loss prevention programs, and safety initiativesLead the company's commitment to a zero-accident workplaceCollaborate with temporary employment agencies to plan staffing levelsFoster a positive and supportive work environment to drive employee engagement and developmentRecruiting and onboardingPromote knowledge sharing and best practices across departmentsDevelop and maintain an efficient and professional organizationEnsure employees are motivated and qualified, focusing on developing the project portfolioIn Collaboration with the Rest of the Management Team Support matrix organization projects and rollouts at the DCFacilitate KPI and reporting principles implementation within the DC in collaboration with development and controllingParticipate in the Business Plan process for the DC (yearly strategy)Participate in the local DC budgeting process and ensure alignment with overall principlesLive our JYSK Values and LeadershipEstimated travel and meeting activity is approximately 25 days per year. Our Project JYSK is expanding its presence in Spain and Portugal with a new distribution center in Almenara, a town located in the southern part of Castellón, Valencia with a 274,000 square meter plot. With a capacity of 150,000 pallets, the facility is scheduled to be operational by 2027/2028.
