These roles are Permanent, part-time 60hrs/fortnight. As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check, which includes a medical assessment. The Shift times required to work will be spread across either: Morning Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Our Distribution Centre operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts (Sunday availability is optional for this recruitment). This role is based at IKEA Distribution Centre separate from the IKEA Marsden Park Store. Recruitment Process and Key Dates If your application is successful, you may be invited to complete a video screening interview as part of the recruitment process. If your application is progressed, you will be invited to attend an in-person Group Assessment Centre Wednesday 6 November 2024. If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-full day Welcome induction on Monday 9 December 2024. About this work area As a Warehouse Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Picking, packing, and checking customer online orders for truck or parcel delivery within set KPIs. Using your attention to detail skills when picking assigned orders, using the RF scanning system to check accuracy. Prepare orders for delivery by labelling and arranging stock for dispatch accordingly. Replenishing your assigned area to ensure it is fully stocked. Using inventory systems to ensure stock availability is precise and accurate. Ensuring IKEA SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) rules and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both you and co-workers. As a Warehouse Co-worker you have:

An energetic approach as you will be on your feet all day. A passion for logistics operations, willingness to learn and grow with the business. Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do. A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including repetitive movements and lifting. Prior experience in using warehouse equipment safely such as pallet jacks, scanning equipment, barcode printers, and other specialised equipment is ideal but not essential.
