In this role you are responsible to provide, measure and analyze financial and performance KPIs in order to drive smart decision making, financial steering and active improvements regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of indirect (non-production related) spend in the assigned Procurement Area.You act as financial Business Partner for the Procurement Area and its organization in all financial matters and drive initiatives for improvement. You work in an international virtual team based in Germany and Barcelona.You will be responsible for:Liaise with the Procurement Area, render procedural guidance and support decision making within sourcing events of the related spend from sourcing strategy to contract signature and subsequent savings tracking.Manage interfaces to functional controlling departments and divisional controllers in order to achieve full transparency of Procurement P&L contribution.Participate in the (portfolio) steering of sourcing events of the assigned Procurement Area such as savings pipeline building and savings pipeline portfolio reviews.Monitor a set of KPIs to steer the Marketing community spend, for example: Procurement savings opportunities, WAT (Weighted Average Terms), number of suppliers, operational expenditures, adherence of standardized payment terms.Contribute to improvements of current Controlling concepts (price index developments, e.g.).Contribute to efficiency projects such as working capital optimization initiatives.In performing this role, you will closely interact with CFO Functions Controlling and the global Functional Controlling community, the Procurement Area leadership team, Procurement Category Managers, Finance Business Partners and Procurement Governance & Enabling.We would expect from you:University degree in Economics / Master of Business Administration or equivalent studies in economics / management.Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in Controlling, Procurement or Source2Pay environment, knowledge of core Procurement processes is a plus.Experience in a multinational environment is considered as an advantage.Ability to work in a digital environment and virtual teams.Thorough knowledge of Controlling processes and methodologies.Combines strong conceptual and technical skills with the ability to manage a global network.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Very strong presentation and communication skills, ability to successfully deal with different cultures on all organizational levels.Uses Data Analytics and other digital tools to provide insights to support better decision making (e.g., SAP BW, Tableau, Power BI).Customer centric mindset.Business English: fluent in spoken and written.In exchange we will offer you:A flexible hybrid work model (Home Office) including the option to work anywhere within the EU and 2 weeks/year outside the EU.Career development with wide access to professional development tools & trainings.Competitive salary, bonus & top performers awards on recognition in case of exceeding contribution.Meals Subsidy in Office.2 additional annual leave days after 3 years in the company.Life & Accident Insurance.100% salary coverage in the event of medical leave.In-house medical service at Bayer premises open 5 days a week for 8 hours.24-hour psychological, medical, and social care for employees and family.Annual medical check-up.Subsidized sports groups, physiotherapy service, online gym.At Bayer office: fitness room, parcel lockers, laundry/drycleaner service, bicycle parking.YOUR APPLICATIONBayer offers the possibility of working in a hybrid model.
