Job Description
Scope and Objectives This position is responsible for serving food & beverage to guests according to the service standards, policy, procedure & etiquette, in line with our motto.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all timesExceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and updating profilesMaintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu & daily specialsBe familiar with beverage service, including glasses used and appropriate garnishesFollow up on restaurant financial, LQA, TrustYou and Forbes targets dailyAnticipate and service guests' requirementsUse opening and closing checklist for smooth venue operationsEnsure service stations are cleared and re-stocked during serviceServe and clear food and beverage items unobtrusively and professionallyPresent menus proactivelyFeel empowered and accountable within the workplaceUpdate manager on duty of any guest feedback for the Glitch ReportMaintain HACCP & FIFO standards as requiredFollow Hotel Evacuation Policy in case of an emergencyAttend necessary briefings and training sessions as instructedHandle financial procedures according to finance department guidelinesIdentify potential problems and anticipate guest needs, seeking assistance before service breakdown occursPerform any duties and special projects as requested by managementReport all issues and negative guest feedback on the glitch systemFollow care program at all times, reporting issues to maintenance Qualifications
