We are looking for: Retail Category Development Manager
VISION/MISSION Ensure CP Oral Care leader that knows shopper's, customer's and categories and develops strategies and plans to deliver Category value, make CP to perceived as the most trusted and objective category advisor, by providing data-driven category solutions to our customers Omni-channel. Support and harmonize the development and the delivery of the RCD (retail category development) services to our key customers while disseminate the category knowledge (Oral Care & Personal Care) and drive RCD Focus within the commercial organization.
GETTING READY Support crosses functional team (CDMs, BDMs and Shoppers) to develop local category by consolidating available Customer - Shopper knowledge and retail trends into a "ready to use" category story to be shared with key customers.
Develop roadmap for RCD services delivery and identify w/CD & CEx team key category growth drivers & priorities.
DEVELOP & DELIVER 1 WAY SERVICES Plan & commit a one way category knowledge calendar including all RCD tools.
Ensure an updated & trustful source of insights & category knowledge.
Coordinate sales team to convert brand initiatives into category selling -> right "customers' twist".
Sustainability initiatives support in terms of internal & external communication becoming a point of reference for any doubt or info requirement.
DEVELOP & DELIVER 2 WAYS SERVICES Identify customers' category challenges and work w/insights & BDM teams to uncover the "why's". Work w/RE Mgr. and Marketing to ensure right focus and resources allocation.
Lead the customer engagement process with prioritized customers.
Develop appropriate category solution to improve business opportunity and category growth within the selected customers including:
Ensure a rich assortment, in line with Category and RE strategies.
Planograms & NPDs allocation recommendations.
Top customers' specific shopper solutions.
Coordinate (w/RE team) the Customers- CP RCD Workshops.
SHARE and DRIVE CATEGORY KNOWLEDGE INTERNALLY Build category knowledge bundle for internal usage.
Disseminate retailers perspective internally (within the guidelines of the CP CatMan principles) and share customers' categories challenges and opportunities.
Provide key inputs to GTM team for NP introduction and new projects (Products/ shopper programs/POP/ etc).
Identify assortments gaps / issues and opportunities at category/customer level.
QUALIFICATION Education: master degree in business or related field.
Spanish & English proficient.
At least 6 yrs of Customer management &/or Trade Marketing experience. Marketing (Consumer and/or Shopper) &/or Insights & Analytics will be considered as a plus.
High level of Google suite & Microsoft tools. Nielsen & Apolo/Spaceman as a plus.
Key Proficiencies: Communication, Influence, Partnership & Collaboration, Analytical Skills and Strong English proficiency.
Location: Madrid Office, hybrid mode
