This position will be full-time and remote.What You'll DoWe seek an hourly contract position that reports to the Manager of the Shipboard Product Health Team.
The position will perform the duties of Incident Commander and lead major incident management issues.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing and directing major incidents (P1-Critical, P2-High).Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings.Attending Change Management Meetings.Managing problem incident tracking.What You'll NeedRequiredBachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.4+ years of related experience.Ability to write basic SQL query scripts.Experience with an issue-tracking system.Technology certification in HW, Networking, or Security.The Incident Commander will have high-level communication skills, both verbal and written.Possesses a high-level understanding of Network Architecture and database Design.Familiar with network and data flow diagrams.The Incident Commander demonstrates a robust problem-solving ability and shows confidence in their capability to handle complex situations.Manages and leads major incidents.Ensures that the health teams follow the client-defined practices and procedures for Major Incident Management.Administers training related to all facets of incident management.Conducts incident Root Cause Analysis (RCA).The IC is comfortable leading meetings and providing status updates to senior management.Attends the Change Management meetings and ensures the support team is aware of upcoming changes.Manages Problem issues and ensures the health team follows problem procedure.Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, maintain documentation, and work with interruptions.PreferredPreferred Cruise Hospitality Relevant Experience.ITIL Certification.GIAC or GCIH Certification.Physical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.
