Overview Description Duties: Schedule drivers' shifts according to operational requirements, customers' requests, events schedules and other factors affecting the daily operation. Understand and relay dispatchers and drivers work orders, messages, and information to or from Transport Manager. Provide drivers with vehicles' folders per service and ensure the return of vehicles back to the park. Help dispatchers maintain vehicles fleet in good condition and arrange for repairs, if necessary, without disruptions of services and schedules. Report incidents, accidents, vehicles breakdown to Motorpool supervisor immediately as soon as reported. Ensure timely and efficient order supplies and equipment (including, but not limited to high visibility jackets, medical kits, washing cloths, etc.), and issue them to drivers. Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned; compile data and prepare reports; answer route calls or messages; prepare and process requisitions, etc. Control maintenance and enforce health and safety regulations. Experience: Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old at the beginning of the assignment. Hold a valid driving license and have at least 2 years of driving experience. Have at least 1 year of personnel management experience, or 2 years of events operations experience at international events. Hold all necessary permits, licenses, and authorizations, and fulfill all further requirements necessary to lawfully carry out the envisaged assignments in France. Be in a physical condition that allows them to duly render the envisaged assignments and comply with any health requirements established by the applicable laws. Be able to professionally undertake the duties reasonably requested by OBS as necessary to complete OBS' assignments. Possess a professional attitude and be willing to perform the assignment indicated by OBS. Fluent in both English (ability to speak French and/or other languages will be an asset). Good interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and organize several tasks within specific deadlines. Ability to plan schedules and adapt plans to new conditions. Knowledge of MS Windows OS and related software (MS Office package). Workplace & Environment: Fast-paced work environment. Subject to national/international criminal background checks. This is a freelance position based in Paris, France, starting in early July until August 17th or 18th depending on the allocation.
