Job Description
Junior Engineer with experience in rail geometric design, to join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team.
We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone railway team or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long-term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.
Responsibilities: Demonstrate and lead AECOM's culture – make it happen, support your team, embrace the new and different.Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate growth potential as well as a desire to learn.Work collaboratively on international projects to support AECOM's Home Offices.Work on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed by senior or experienced engineers.Perform daily work under Designer's supervision.Set standards and procedures for CAD works.Work on complex drawings in 2D and 3D including markups and CAD works.Prepare geometric design of linear infrastructures.
