Do you want to be part of our Clinical Development Centre (CDC) team which includes Spain, France, and Portugal, creating a new team and driving the start-up of our clinical trials?
The position A booming pipeline and the ambition of expanding in size and exploring new therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk is requiring reorganizing our structure with the purpose to optimise all the activities which lead to the activation of sites and ensure competitive recruitment timelines.
In full alignment with the global strategy and with the sponsorship of regional management, a new department called CDC Start-up unit will be built with the aim to structure a group of specialised and dedicated roles to provide a strong performance of feasibility process and to support clinical units with management of contracts.
The CDC Start-up Manager will have the opportunity to build up a novel department to comply with the local necessities and to execute the strategy agreed at country level with the rest of the CDC Leadership team in the 3 countries, with the ambition to better performance and towards the possibility to attract high-level projects to the CDC Spain organization.
Some of your responsibilities will be to: Create and lead the new CDC Start-up unit team.Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders, co-creating a common strategy with the three countries and execute it through the specialised roles part of the unit.Be one of the leaders of the cultural transformation towards agile ways of working, simplification, and innovative ways of support to facilitate the reach of the common purpose.Provide solutions which will allow achieving a stronger feasibility process and optimize the contract signature process to make the activation of sites a smarter and quicker process.Strong collaboration with stakeholders at Region, headquarters, and other CDCs level in order to align strategy, set common goals, define targets, and ensure performance.Qualifications Life Science bachelor.In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of international, European, and local pharmaceutical industry regulations, and regulatory framework.People manager experience in clinical area - international, cross countries experiences will be an advantage.Team management and leadership abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills.
Cross-functional and team player mindset.Fluent in English is a must.
Highly valuable at least one of the following languages: Spanish, French, or Portuguese.Availability to travel.About the Department The CDC Start-up unit will have a strong connection with the rest of CDC Leadership team, as well as the medical department and all the local stakeholders who strategically contribute to the feasibility process.
