.The RoleSinclair is now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (maternity leave cover of 7-8 months).The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing a wide range of legal and risk advice to the business.Providing general legal support to the business in a variety of areas in a relatively autonomous role. Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts. Supporting and assisting the Chief Legal Officer, and assisting with supervision of junior solicitors and paralegals. With an in-house commercial infrastructure,including manufacturing and a network of distributors in leading global markets, our products are sold in 55 countries worldwide.This is a great time to join Sinclair as we continue to increase our product range and expand into new markets and territories.Our VisionProviding aesthetic excellence globally.Our MissionDriving the advancement of product quality and customer satisfaction, investing in innovation and people.Our ValuesAct with IntegrityBe results drivenEmbrace your winning spiritStay ahead of the gameOne team, one goalKey Responsibilities:General legal support and advice to Sinclair's global business, including:Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; Assisting with corporate matters; Developing and updating legal policies and templates; Assisting the business with the identification of key areas of risk, and managing legal issues associated with Sinclair's business activities; Proactively managing Sinclair's intellectual property portfolio,and ensuring that Sinclair's intellectual property is protected during commercial contract negotiations and other business activities; Assisting with setting internal governance policies; Assisting and liaising with external legal counsel to set up corporate structures in new areas of operation, and advising on day-to-day matters including new geographical locations; Ensuring clear and proper instruction and management of external legal counsel to ensure specialist legal support, and advice on a cost-effective basis; Providing ongoing advice to the business, and working closely with the compliance team, regarding compliance requirements including GDPR, and anti-bribery and corruption requirements; Keeping abreastof legislative changes and cascading to the business as appropriate; andSupervisionand support of junior solicitors and paralegals.Your Skills & Experience – Do You Have What it Takes?Essential:Law Degree with LPC or equivalent (e.G.Graduate Diploma in Law).Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE.Experience of working in a well- regarded international law firm.In-depth knowledge of competition law.Fluent in Spanish / English.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office#J-18808-Ljbffr
