Your Missions: The VSE Technician will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of automated systems and In Ovo vaccination equipment installed at client sites across Spain and Portugal.
The role also involves supporting new project implementations in hatcheries, managing spare parts and equipment inventories, and training operators in the use and maintenance of the solutions provided.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Maintenance:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems and In Ovo vaccination equipment.Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted client operations.Project Support:Participate in the installation and commissioning of new technological solutions in hatcheries.Collaborate with Ceva's In Ovo technical team to ensure efficient implementation of projects.Inventory Management:Oversee the stock of spare parts and equipment in the warehouse.Ensure resource availability for maintenance and installations.Training and Support:Train client operators in preventive maintenance, vaccine preparation, and application techniques.Provide training on new technologies and innovative equipment.Reporting and Communication:Prepare detailed reports following each technical visit.Participate in company update meetings and conventions with other business units.Your Profile: Education and Training: Degree or Technical Certification:Engineering in Agronomy, Mechanics, Electricity, or related fields.Vocational Training in Automation, Robotics, Electromechanics, Electricity, or similar technical disciplines.Technical Skills: Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for automated equipment.Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.Competence in managing spare parts and inventory.Experience with automation or robotics systems (preferred but not mandatory).Soft Skills: Customer-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.Teamwork and collaboration with technical teams.Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and innovations.Strong communication skills, including the ability to train operators effectively.Role-Specific Requirements: Availability to travel regularly within Spain and Portugal.Languages: Fluent Spanish.Basic or intermediate Portuguese (preferred).English for technical training and international meetings.Work Experience: No prior experience in the poultry sector is required, but it will be considered a plus.Experience in technical maintenance, automation, or robotics will be advantageous.
