**Job Purpose**Monitors all open material requests and places pool, exchange, loan and purchase orders in accordance with the procurement guidelines.
Additionally, verifies and negotiates prices, lead times and delivery dates (updating these in the relevant IT systems) and satisfies any ad-hoc material requests from Material analysts,engineering and other relevant departments.
**Main Accountabilities**- Issuing orders to satisfy the open material requests.- Order tracking.- Maintaining stock levels according to the SCM policies.- Managing shipments.- Ensure internal procedures are meet.- Controlling expenses having a saving mindset.- Update VLG systems**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**- Issuing orders to satisfy the open material requests and replenish consignment stock according to the internal authorization regulations, the procurement policies and the existing contracts.- Continuous monitoring of the open material requests and orders for the assigned fleet and/or suppliers- Managing the interaction with suppliers at operational level: communication, negotiation, and escalation- Updating order data in AMOS- The liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers in case of technical, commercial, or financial issues.- Assisting internal stakeholders with spares, orders,and supplier queries.- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization.- Invoicing management.- Claims and material escalations.- Suppliers' registration into AMOS/SAP.- Shipments management according to the level of criticality.
**Main Relationships**Liaise with other supply chain teams like the AOG Desk, heavy maintenance coordinators, material returns and supply chain analysts.
And with other internal and external stakeholders like the MOC, Planning, Engineering, Forwarders, suppliers and the warehouse.
**Education**University degree or equivalent higher education in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or Economics.
Alternatively, minimum 2-year experience in operational purchasing in a technical environment.
**Experience**- At least 2-year experience in a Maintenance department, operational purchasing, or logistics in a corporate environment, preferably for an aircraft MRO, airline, or aerospace supplier,or at least in a technical environment.
**Competencies**- Knowledge of the aircraft spares market and preferable EASA Part M Part 145 regulation- Knowledge of basic aircraft maintenance concepts- Knowledge of aviation ERP systems (AMOS is a plus)- Structured and able to work under pressure- Hight level of proactivity- Cost oriented- Continues improvement mindset**Languages**- English: B2- Spanish: B2**Location**Barcelona**Level**Individual Contributor 5**Our benefits**Every single person who works with us is unique.
