Job Description Summary: GE Grid Solutions designs and installs innovative turnkey substations from substation definition to delivery, which includes solution design, network analysis, engineering, procurement, civil works, installation, tests, commissioning, and asset management. Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with autonomy but guided by established GE policies.Reporting to the Projects Team Manager, you will be primarily responsible for project management from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and warranty period. Responsible for coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects (Turnkeys, Substations Extensions, GIS & Hybrid modules, Mobile Substations). Responsible for projects delivery, profit & loss accountability, planning, costs control, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Project overall responsibility for quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team. The role has high autonomy.Roles and Responsibilities:Overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources that may include installation, commissioning, maintenance, support, decommissioning, and training services.Utilizing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.Creating project schedule and procurement plan to ensure smooth project execution in a timely manner with quality within cost.Providing cost-effective execution of project milestones in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin.Identifying and evaluating risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one's area of responsibility.Preparing and presenting Project Management Review to management.Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook.Executing projects in accordance with GE Grid process and core values of safety and integrity.Delivering Project Financial results: Sales & Margin, billing, and cash collection.Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.Reporting/Resolving any non-conformances and processes in a timely manner.#J-18808-Ljbffr
