The Role
Holded seeks a highly experienced and strategic VP of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SMB and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. This position will report directly to Javi Fondevila, co-CEO.
Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Holded's business objectives, target market, and brand positioning.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of Holded's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.User Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition through various channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, partnerships, and events.Customer Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty through targeted marketing campaigns, communications, and customer relationship management.Product Marketing: Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop and execute product marketing initiatives, including product launches, messaging, and positioning.Data-driven Insights: Utilize data analytics and market research to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives.Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, optimizing spend to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, product, and customer success, to align marketing efforts and drive overall business success.Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain Holded's competitive edge. Job Requirements: Previous proven experience as VP of Marketing.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies for SMB or SaaS companies.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.Fluent in English and Spanish.
