GLOBAL REMOTE ROLE Job Purpose: The Global Lead for Microsoft will have a strong handle on the vendor's organization and strategies. The incumbent will build important relationships with Microsoft's global influencers and ensure that TD SYNNEX's global and regional leaders are equally well connected to their MS counterparts. Reporting into the SVP Global Cloud, the Vice President, Global Lead for Microsoft will be responsible for:
Responsible for our multi-billion dollar Microsoft business globally. Developing and delivering an aspirational and transformative multi-year plan aligned to our corporate strategy of moving to higher value, leading with Cloud, Data, Security, and Services. Leading our matrix organization of dedicated Microsoft teams across TD SYNNEX's three regions. Driving influence at Microsoft Corp to secure financial, technical, and programmatic support to fuel our transformational program. Coordinating the various initiatives from design to execution, from global to regional and then countries. What You'll Do: Build and align strategic growth plans with Microsoft Corp and Regions, securing financing from the vendor (15%). Collaborate to build and execute operational capabilities (e.g., Customer Life Cycle Management) for Cloud (35%). Lead global MS team - rhythm of business, as well as monthly/quarterly review (15%). Collaborate with Next Gen organization global, regional, and local to develop best-in-class value proposition and differentiated offers in Solutions aggregation and orchestration (20%). Executive sponsor driver of skills and capabilities development across all regions (15%). What We're Looking For: 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience. 15+ years of experience directly managing/supervising employees. Bachelor's Degree with Engineering or Business Field of Study preferred. Associate Degree with Engineering or Business Field of Study required. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information. Able to converse and write effectively in English and any other local language. Able to create and conduct formal presentations. Able to interact effectively with all levels of management. Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results. Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills. Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive. Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion. Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
